About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Asset Recovery Specialist to manage a portfolio of high-risk, delinquent and written-off asset finance accounts by analysing customer circumstances, negotiating sustainable solutions, and taking decisive recovery and enforcement actions where required.
* Analyse customers’ financial positions and recommend recovery solutions including settlements, shortfalls, write-offs, and hardship options.
* Initiate and manage legal recovery processes including default notices, Statements of Claim, judgments, possession action, caveats, and enforcement strategies.
* Liaise with external parties including solicitors, mercantile agents, liquidators and auction houses.
* Identify and elevate potential risks such as fraud, irregular activity or accounts likely to result in loss.
About You
You are an experienced professional who thrives in complex collections or legal recoveries environments with at least three years' experience in collections, recoveries or paralegal work. You bring strong negotiation skills, the ability to handle sensitive conversations, and an understanding of enforcement processes, litigation pathways and asset-based recovery strategies.
