Your new role: As the Clinical Nurse Consultant - Perioperative, you will provide advanced clinical expertise and leadership across perioperative services, supporting safe, high-quality, person-centred care in collaboration with nursing and multidisciplinary teams. Key responsibilities include: * Providing advanced clinical leadership and expert consultancy in perioperative nursing practice * Leading and influencing evidence-based practice, clinical standards and quality improvement initiatives * Supporting, mentoring and developing nursing staff through education and role modelling * Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve service priorities and performance outcomes * Contributing to service improvement, innovation, research and workforce development activities About you: You are an experienced perioperative nurse leader with strong clinical judgement, a collaborative leadership style, and a commitment to improving patient and service outcomes. You will demonstrate: * Advanced clinical knowledge and experience in perioperative nursing practice * Strong leadership, communication and consultation skills * Experience in clinical governance, quality improvement and evidence-based practice * Operating Theatre and/or Endoscopy experience and/or relevant postgraduate qualifications (desirable) Check out our quick tips and application essentials!
