We are looking for a seasoned accounting professional that has experience in the transport industry, specifically on the revenue side and with a continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise the billings function for a sizeable transport business
* General Ledger review and oversight
* Revenue analysis by customer
* Provide financial solutions and guidance to the business
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
* Review pricing and cost models for existing and new business opportunities
* Manage the onboarding process for new customers and carriers
* Review and report on overheads, including wages and salary allocations
* Oversee Profit and Loss for various business units and multi-site operations
* Fleet management costings and P&L reporting
* Lead and mentor a team of Billings Clerks and Accountants
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Strong understanding of the transport business
* CPA qualified Accountant with at least 5 years\' experience
* Experience in large businesses with complex, high-volume transactional environments
* Proven experience leading a team
* Experience with OTM and Oracle OneCloud (preferred, but not essential)
* Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
