About This Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate Teacher of HPE & Science or HPE & Mathematics to join our secondary school program.
As a full‐time teacher, you will work collaboratively with your colleagues to deliver a vibrant curriculum to your students and possess a strong knowledge of content and pedagogy in these areas. You will use teaching strategies that cater to the needs of a diverse student group and differentiate the curriculum to adapt to students' needs.

As the classroom Teacher you will be responsible for the delivery of a holistic education, including:
* Creation of a nurturing learning environment which is learner‐centred, safe, supportive, co‐operative and aligned with curriculum, policies and practices
* Effective planning, implementation and reviewing of learning programs
* Maintaining professional standards as defined by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
* Effective management of students in the classroom and wider school community
* Ensuring that the values and Christian ethos of the School are upheld

Skills and Experiences
About You
* Experience teaching HPE & Science or HPE & Mathematics in middle years classes (Years 7‐10), as well as Senior Physics and/or Chemistry and/or Mathematics
* Qualified Teacher, registered with, or eligible for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
* Demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice and engagement
* Strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum: Science and/or Australian Curriculum: Mathematics
* Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills and organisational skills
* Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, parents and carers to achieve the best outcomes for students
* Demonstrate an understanding of appropriate professional boundaries and standards when working with children and young people
* Demonstrate a commitment to the Christian faith and the Anglican ethos of the School
