WPP Production
Producer
Posted: 23 April
Offer description

We are WPP Production – the unified global production company that brings together all of WPP's content producers, studios and craft experts into one connected organisation. We combine world‐class human craft with next‐generation technology to originate, design, and deliver multi‐channel content systems at scale.

YOUR ROLE IN A NUTSHELL

The Social Creative Producer/Editor is a critical mid‐level role within WPP Production's Australian business. It acts as the creative engine for the social production pods that are dedicated to a major CPG client, partnering closely with Content producers and fellow Creative resources.

The primary focus of the role is to deliver social creative for planned Always‐On (BAU) content and campaign requirements for relevant brands aligned to the shared Pods.

The role involves translating social insights and trends into innovative, platform‐native content strategies that the Social Creative Producer/Editor then delivers. It requires overseeing creative development, ensuring every piece of content maintains brand integrity, feels fresh, relevant, and platform‐native, and leading to 12+ weekly asset deliveries.

In addition, the role will leverage craft capabilities for high‐value Out‐of‐Scope (OOS) opportunities, special projects, videography, art direction oversight and post‐production editing.

The contract is a 9‐month maximum term to Dec 2026.

REPORTING LINES AND GLOBAL CONNECTIVITY

The Social Creative Producer/Editor reports day‐to‐day to the Social Content Account Lead and works closely with the Community Specialist, Creator bench, Influencer Specialist and wider WPP Production peers. It also connects with the global WPP Production team to share best practices and innovation.

* Drive production tasks, oversee shoot‐related activities and lead post‐production editing oversight, including direct editing or motion graphics for premium or OOS assets.
* Experiment with emerging social features and tools, developing proof‐of‐concept content to drive innovation.

WHAT YOU'VE DONE

* Driven end‐to‐end creative strategy and execution for social content, translating complex social insights and emerging trends into innovative, platform‐native campaigns and always‐on content for major CPG clients.
* Led the conceptualisation, production and delivery of high‐volume social assets, from ideation through final approval.
* Managed the creative process across a roster of creators and designers, developing clear briefs, scripts and storyboards to ensure on‐brand and platform‐optimised output.
* Acted as a brand guardian, maintaining strict adherence to brand guidelines, tone of voice and visual identity across all social media activations.
* Applied advanced craft skills in hands‐on production of social content assets, including videography, creative oversight and leading post‐production editing for high‐priority projects and experimental content.
* Proactively experimented with new social features and tools to develop compelling proof‐of‐concept content and elevate overall creative excellence.
