Wall and Floor Tiler Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces by removing old tiles, grout, and adhesive, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning surfaces.
They will also be tasked with spraying adhesive and laying ceramic, clay, slate, marble, and glass tiles on internal and external walls and floors.
Additional duties include using tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles for edges, corners, and around fixtures and pipes.
The ideal candidate must ensure tiles are correctly aligned, spaced, and level.
They will apply grout, clean off excess, and finish tiled surfaces to a high standard.
Also, they will lay decorative or mosaic patterns when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout, and adhesive, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning surfaces.
* Spray adhesive and lay ceramic, clay, slate, marble, and glass tiles on internal and external walls and floors.

Requirements:
* Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling or equivalent qualification.
* Minimum 1 year of full-time experience (or equivalent) as a Wall and Floor Tiler.
* Strong skills in tile cutting, setting, grouting, and finishing.
* Able to read and work from plans.
* Good understanding of waterproofing and tiling standards in Australia.
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
