Overview
Are you seeking a rewarding and diverse Administration Officer role in a leading regional hospital? Join the Palliative Care Consultancy team at Latrobe Regional Health, where we value our employees by providing a safe and supportive workplace culture that enables you to thrive.
Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is looking for Administration Officer (PCCG) to join our growing team on a part-time (0.4 EFT) fixed term until August 2026.
Working Together
We will respond to challenges together to create a safe, quality health service
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to clinicians and management.
Coordinate day-to-day operations, ensuring effective communication and workflow.
Manage patient referrals, records, and data in line with organisational procedures.
Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes, reports, and other documentation.
Support the coordination of Telehealth services and related administrative tasks.
Build and maintain positive relationships with clinicians, community palliative care services and key stakeholders.
About you / Qualifications
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Proven experience in administration or clerical support, ideally in healthcare.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach.
The ability to work independently, use initiative, and adapt to change.
A compassionate and respectful manner when engaging with patients, families and colleagues.
