Optimizing Water Treatment Operations

We're seeking a skilled professional to provide technical support to our water treatment teams in the North East region. This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute to the delivery of safe drinking water while minimizing disruptions and upholding system integrity.
The successful candidate will have the chance to participate in site visits, assist with daily tasks, and provide technical input into treatment processes, upgrades, and instrumentation calibration. You will also have opportunities to train operators and other work groups within our organization in water treatment procedures and assist with employee workplace skill assessments.
This role requires a Certificate III in Water Treatment or equivalent and relevant experience in water treatment. The ideal candidate will possess problem-solving skills and be able to think critically to resolve practical challenges. Additionally, they must demonstrate an occupational health and safety mindset and be committed to working collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support to the water treatment teams, including site visits and daily tasks.
* Contribute to the design, construction, and commissioning of new treatment plant or treatment plant upgrade projects.
* Implement changes within the operations group for continuous compliance and improvement projects.
* Train operators and other work groups in water treatment procedures and assist with employee workplace skill assessments.
* Work with operators and other technical staff to optimize treatment on a day-to-day and seasonal basis.
