Rendering / Solid Plastering Trainer and Tiling Trainer
Skills Institute Australia (SIA) is an expanding RTO, which provides high quality vocational training to students in cookery, hospitality, business, English, automotive and construction courses. We are looking for enthusiastic and capable people to fill several roles as Rendering / Solid Plastering Trainers and Assessors and Tiling Trainers in our Perth campus. Sponsorship may be approved for the right applicant.
The primary courses to be delivered include:
* Certificate III in Solid Plastering
* Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling
Key duties include:
* Provide quality, compliant, effective training and assessment in specific units according to SIA policies and procedures, course specifications, principles of assessment and legislative requirements
* Provide academic support, mentoring and motivation, assisting a range of students from various backgrounds
* Maintain all student academic and attendance records accurately
* Participate in professional development
* Maintain industry currency
* Assist setting up of practical training resources
Position requirements
* Unrestricted right to work in Australia
* Preferred: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122), or diploma or higher level qualification in adult education. SIA may provide assistance to obtain this qualification to the right candidate
* Preferred: Australian-recognised qualification in rendering / plastering at a minimum of Certificate III. Verifiable professional experience in the industry may be accepted instead of this qualification.
* Current industry experience, skills and knowledge directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided
* High level of spoken and written English
* Police clearance or willingness to obtain one
* Currently residing within normal commuting distance of Osborne Park, Perth

Tiling Trainer & Assessor

We are looking for a full-time Trainer and Assessor to join our Perth campus in the Tiling department. We offer attractive rates and can assist with teaching qualifications.
