Purpose of the role: Working with the Search Media Lead and the broader business business you will help develop campaigns and initiatives which drive product and category growth, as well as overall customer value. Role Responsibilities: Oversee annual, quarterly and annual budget allocations to maximise KPIs (ROAS), optimising across campaigns and channels for the best return. Regularly present performance updates, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders. This includes translating complex data into easily understandable insights and making informed recommendations for budget shifts or new strategies based on insights derived. Act as a primary SEM contact for the client presenting performance data, insights, and recommendations to senior stakeholders and aligning SEM objectives with business goals. Stay informed about the latest trends in SEM, including AI, audiences, automation, and the latest ad formats (e.g., Performance Max campaigns). Proactively test new strategies, formats, or platforms and provide insight into their applicability for helping to achieve performance marketing goals Take a lead role in mentoring junior team members, helping them to develop analytical and campaign management skills, and offering guidance on how to approach more complex SEM challenges (e.g. forecasting, advanced data analytics) Key Requirements: A minimum of 5 years' experience in a hands on SEM role Google Shopping & Google Merchant Centre Experience essential Experience with bid management tools such as SA360, GA360 / GA4 and Adobe Analytics & Ad Servers such as Campaign Manager 360 Experience in keyword planning, forecasting & tagging solutions for measurement and audience building Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
