Step Into Admin Leadership
Metro South Health is seeking a capable and proactive Administration Team Leader to join Facility Support within Corporate Services at Logan Hospital. This temporary part-time AO4 role (40 hours per fortnight, 12-month backfill) supports the coordination and performance of a high-functioning administration team, delivering quality administrative services to patients, visitors and staff in a busy hospital environment.
Your new role:
In this role, you will lead and support a diverse administration team to ensure efficient service delivery and high standards of data integrity and customer service.
* Coordinate and support administrative staff across Facility Support areas, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture
* Review work practices, develop procedural guidelines and resolve day-to-day operational issues
* Monitor rosters, cost centres and data reports to ensure accuracy and support quality improvement
* Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing support of administrative staff
About you:
You are an organised and people-focused administration professional with strong leadership capability and experience working in complex environments.
* Demonstrated ability to lead, support and motivate administrative teams while delivering high-quality outcomes
* Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience using Microsoft Office and hospital information systems
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including discretion with confidential information
* An understanding of the healthcare environment and the ability to adapt to change while maintaining service quality
