A renowned Government organisation is seeking to fill a Head of Asset Development (Renewal) & Operations position on a permanent basis within the Asset & Operations division. This unique position will work closely with the Executive Director and will include overseeing the delivery of the capital building project portfolio, asset management and maintenance plans, and operational policies.

**Your new role**
Reporting to the Executive Director, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the annual capital and operational budgets and reporting on asset and operational costs
- Coordinate the execution of the capital project portfolio with the aid of the local council
- Developing the annual asset renewal and maintenance plan, also responsible for contract management and procurement process
- Developing strategies and future-proofing techniques in partnership with management and essential stakeholders to uphold operational sustainability, safety, and compliance
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful, you will require:
- Tertiary qualifications in Facilities management, Asset management, Retail management Business management and/or relevant experience
- Great understanding of Government Procurement processes, and exemplary Contract management and budgeting skills
- Exceptional communication & negotiation skills - being fundamental to the position
- Leadership qualities - ability to lead a team & delegate appropriately
- A motivated attitude an individual who can question, comprehend, and stop non-compliance operations while also understanding the underlying procedures and policies and doing this in a collected and logical manner.
