The Field Service Technician will be based in the Albury-Wodonga region, working from home, and traveling to regional customer sites through the state, including regular visits to Albury-Wodonga, Southern New South Wales, and Central Victoria.
This role plays a key part in servicing our diverse customers by utilizing strong technical skills, computer competency, and ability to learn and adapt to our ever-evolving products. Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining, repairing, and testing Draeger safety products;
* Producing work conducted reports for customers;
* Preparing detailed quotations for customers;
* Maintaining accurate service records;
* Providing high quality service and support to our customers;
* Onsite customer user and maintenance training;
* Traveling regularly to regional customer sites in Southern New South Wales and Central Victoria, occasionally to other States as required;
* Applying a compliance focused mindset across all operations;
* Ensuring a safety-first approach at all times.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
* A formal qualification in a maintenance trade discipline or demonstrated relevant experience;
* At least 2 years' post-trade experience and proven competency in a similar position;
* Willingness to travel regularly to metro and regional client sites, and ad-hoc interstate;
* Capacity to effectively service a range of technical safety products;
* Experience with delivering product training for various users;
* Technical documentation and diagrams proficiency, understanding technical problems presented by customers, and providing effective solutions;
* Effective articulation of company and product information to customers;
* Routine arithmetic calculations and pricing structures knowledge to complete quotations;
* Proficiency in various computer software, including Microsoft Office suite of applications;
* Adaptability and readiness to handle multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment;
* Strong understanding of compliance rules, with a proactive mindset and the ability to act as a role model in upholding and promoting compliance standards;
* Excellent customer focus, problem solving, communication, organisational, and task management skills;
* A team player with a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn;
* A current Driver's License.
A Police Check will be required for this position.
