We are seeking a skilled Therapy Assistant to join our team in a permanent part-time capacity.
As a valued member of our team, you will:
* Deliver exercise and mobility programs to residents under the guidance of a physiotherapist.
* Contribute to the planning and organisation of therapy programs.
* Lead and facilitate therapy-based activity programs as directed.
* Accompany resident groups on outings and events.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide exceptional care and support to residents through effective communication and empathy.
2. Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care delivery.
4. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
* Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or higher/equivalent qualification.
* Experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to lead and coach staff members.
* Sound written and verbal communication skills.
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
