Bring your current industry experience and knowledge in Early Childhood Education & Care Higher Education and join our vibrant team of Teachers in this exciting temporary full time opportunity at our St Leonards Campus. You will be delivering the Bachelor degree of Early Childhood Education and Care.
TAFE Teachers are professional educators who help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The successful candidate in this role will deliver educational programs and facilitate learning, enabling students to achieve their best outcomes.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will be either currently working in the Early Childhood, Education and Care industry and/or teaching, have knowledge of higher education teaching and learning practice and/or the online teaching environment. Candidates must have high level communication skills, strong computer skills, an understanding of online and higher education pedagogy and the skills to support online students from diverse backgrounds with their studies.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this role you need to meet the following essential requirements:
4. Degree in Early Childhood and a post graduate qualification in a related field
5. Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
6. Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
7. High level written and oral communication skills in English and Proven ability to communicate effectively in a wide range of educational, industrial or community environments.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
·A Masters degree in Early Childhood or related field
