 
        
        Technical Officer - NSW Government 
A Technical Officer is required by a NSW Government department on a 12-month contract based in Parramatta + WFH (hybrid). 
Location: Parramatta + WFH (hybrid): 
Pay Rate: Up to $66.70 per hour + Super: 
Contract Length: 12 months with potential extensions 
Primary Purpose of the Role: 
As the Technical Officer, you will be responsible for working on key projects to expand & improve a national rating system that measures the environmental performance of over 2,000 buildings as well as assisting with Level 1 audits. 
Key Accountabilities: 
Manage the operations & processes of the program to assist building owners, managers & tenants to rate environmental performance of their facilities 
Undertake level 1 rating audits, maintain & contribute to the development, revision & amendment of the programs rules & processes 
Coordinate the development & implementation of projects to deliver outcomes 
Engage with external stakeholders, such as assessors & technical working groups to canvas stakeholder feedback in a constructive manner 
About You: 
Relevant tertiary qualifications & demonstrated experience in a similar role across a large, complex organisation 
Excellent communication & organisational skills, with the ability to work across competing deadlines 
Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills
