We seek to advance the economic development and growth of Indigenous businesses by:providing a range of business support services that will assist members to grow & mature;facilitating linkages and connections with government and the corporate sector, especially around procurement; andpromoting Indigenous businesses on a state, national and global levelRole Overview:The QIBN Hub Coordinator will serve as the central point of contact and operational leader for the hub, ensuring seamless coordination and efficient functioning of activities and services.
This individual will oversee daily operations, facilitate communication between stakeholders, and support the hub's strategic goals by implementing programs, managing resources, and fostering collaboration.Key Responsibilities:Operations Management: Oversee daily hub operations, including delivery of a suite of programs, events and support services to meet the needs of QIBN Indigenous business members.Stakeholder Engagement: Engage regionally with key industry and government stakeholders to leverage opportunities for partnership, collaboration and supply chain procurement for our QIBN Indigenous business members.Marketing and Promotion: Promote QIBN Hubs and the suite of programs, events and support services to potential Indigenous business members and key industry and government stakeholders.Reporting and Compliance: Prepare performance reports, track achievements, and ensure adherence to organizational policies, safety standards, and legal requirements.Qualifications:Qualifications and/or previous experience in business administration, office management, community development or a related field.Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, combined with strong organisational, communication, and adaptability skills, while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.Why Join Us?The QIBN is the newly established state-wide representative body for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses in Queensland and will provide a representative voice and offer a platform for Indigenous businesses to share their successes, challenges, and opportunities, while fostering long-term collaboration and partnerships.Opportunities for growth and career development.Competitive salary and benefits.Interested?
