Maintenance Stores Officer | Food Manufacturing | Monday to Friday
A well-established and rapidly growing food manufacturing business is seeking a Maintenance Stores Officer to join its Engineering team at a large production facility in regional Queensland.
This organisation is a leading exporter of high-quality protein products and operates a large, fast-paced manufacturing site supplying customers across domestic and international markets.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring maintenance teams have access to the spare parts, materials and equipment required to keep the site operating efficiently and minimise downtime.
The Role
Reporting into the Engineering function, you will be responsible for coordinating the maintenance stores and ensuring effective stock control of spare parts and materials used across the site.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing daily maintenance store operations and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Coordinating the supply of maintenance spare parts, equipment and materials across the site
• Ensuring all parts and materials are stored correctly and stock is replenished in a timely manner
• Monitoring stock levels through regular stocktakes and replenishment reviews
• Supporting maintenance planning by preparing materials for work kits
• Coordinating inbound and outbound freight movements related to engineering stores
• Processing goods receipting and reconciling invoices against purchase orders
• Ensuring repairable items are correctly tracked and returned to inventory systems
• Maintaining accurate records within the CMMS system
About You
To be successful in this role you will have experience working within a maintenance stores or engineering stores environment, ideally within manufacturing or heavy industry.
You will also bring:
• Current forklift licence
• Previous experience working in maintenance stores or an engineering environment
• Inventory and stock management experience (CMMS experience such as MEX highly regarded)
• Strong organisation and time management skills
• The ability to work collaboratively with maintenance, engineering and operational teams
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Drivers licence and reliable transport
