The Global Payments Solutions (GPS) team comprises almost 10,000 professionals across over 60 countries. Our business is uniquely positioned to facilitate seamless cross-border payments, offering dedicated in-country and regional support. We're seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager to join our Melbourne GPS team. As a key member of our high-performing sales team, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth by maintaining and enhancing existing revenue streams while developing new opportunities. You will identify and sell innovative GPS solutions to clients in the global corporate sector, engaging with local, regional, and global stakeholders on deals and proactive initiatives.

* Key responsibilities include:
* Acting as a GPS specialist, showcasing comprehensive knowledge of relevant products and services, and serving as a lead sales representative on key opportunities.
* Business development from new and existing clients covering large corporate ASX listed multinational institutions and larger mid-market names.
* Engaging with executive-level internal and external stakeholders, including treasury departments and CFOs, to build and enhance relationships and open opportunities.
* Liaising closely with Relationship Managers and other in-house product partners, working together to provide integrated solutions and engagement to clients.
* Maintaining and enhancing existing revenue streams and developing new revenue streams by identifying and selling innovative Global Payments Solutions.
* Managing RFP proposal processes and presenting client-centric presentations.
* Contributing to pricing reviews, negotiations, and efficiency cost reduction initiatives.
* Providing guidance and coaching to other Sales Managers and team members as a senior member of the GPS sales team.
* Championing industry and technology changes in this market segment.


Requirements

* Significant knowledge of payments solutions, clearing services, products, and techniques, preferably in a sales or relationship management capacity.
* Experience working with Corporate segment clients, including large ASX listed multinationals and larger mid-market names.
* Demonstrated ability to build direct relationships with key decision-makers and close deals in a timely manner.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and manage effective relationships across all levels of an organisation.
* A strong sales record with excellent negotiation, influencing, and decision-making skills.
* A good understanding of market trends, the competitive landscape, and regulatory environment.
