Join the Operations leadership team at TheirCare as an Area Manager within our Specialist OSHC Division. This sector provides the highest quality care to children and young people with disability who attend specialist schools across Victoria.
This role would suit an experienced childcare professional from an Operations, Centre Director, Coordinator or management background who is ready to take the next step in their career. You will drive strong outcomes and support teams to deliver exceeding programs across their region.
In this role you will be responsible for up to 6 services and reporting to the Operations Manager - Specialist.
This role spans throughout Greater Geelong, Ballarat and the Colac region. While the role allows for hybrid work; the successful applicant will be required to travel across multiple locations conducting service visits.
In This Role You Will
Lead and enhance quality practice across 6 services, which are all managed day to day by experienced Program Managers.
Implement the TheirCare standards in programming, safety, quality and compliance.
Coach and mentor your teams to improve outcomes and share best practices.
Oversee rostering, budgeting, reporting and school community engagement.
Build strong relationships with families, school stakeholders and local communities.
Provide critical reflection and planning to support improved child outcomes in service.

Experience And Qualifications
Previous experience in the OSHC, childcare and disability industry is required
Experience as an Area Manager is beneficial but not essential
Strong knowledge of the NQS, National Law & Regulations
Strong leadership and management skills
Completed Diploma level qualification approved by ACECQA
A valid Working with Children Check
Valid First Aid, mandatory reporting and food safety certificates
Driver's license and ability to visit multiple services in your region
