MJT Group Pty Ltd is currently looking for a General Handyman - Subcontractor to assist with the maintenance of a select group of residential premises and who is willing to tackle a wide range of jobs of all sizes across the Canberra area.
The role will suit someone who is trustworthy, enjoys a variety of tasks, and is able to be autonomous.
Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
* General handyman duties;
* General maintenance and light repairs;
* Patching and painting holes in walls and ceilings;
* Undertake light installation or carpentry;
* Repair equipment or appliances;
* Report any maintenance, or other issues, that require specific expert skills.
Requirements and skills:
* Proven experience as handyman;
* Relevant contractor licenses and insurances are in place;
* Current drivers licence;
* Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment;
* Good communication ability;
* Well-organized and apt in problem-solving;
* Attention to detail;
* Promptness.
