We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse or Paramedic with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to join our dedicated team at the Santos site in the Surat Basin, remote Queensland. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality clinical care in a remote environment, operating on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off (2/2) FIFO roster.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver primary and emergency healthcare, including advanced life support, trauma management, and resuscitation.
* Conduct daily medical clinics, manage injuries and illnesses, and facilitate return-to-work planning.
* Coordinate with healthcare providers and medical advisors for medevacs and referrals.
* Perform drug and alcohol testing, health surveillance, and health assessments such as audiometry and spirometry.
* Facilitate health training programs including First Aid, CPR, and Injury Management.
* Maintain medical facilities and equipment according to governance and protocols.
* Promote workplace health initiatives and deliver relevant training.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards and contribute to continuous improvement.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Paramedic.
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent).
* Advanced Life Support (ALS) and CPR certification.
* Trauma qualification (e.g., PHTLS or TNCC).
* Current certification in Drug and Alcohol Testing (HLTPAT005 or equivalent).
* Experience in remote or resource sector healthcare is highly regarded.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
