THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Sommelier or someone with a great passion for wine to join a team that has just been awarded Best Hotel Wine List in Australia. Key to the role is the ability to deliver exceptional dining experiences and to maximise revenue. Alongside wine knowledge, the successful candidate will need to be confident working in a high-volume environment.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
 * Ideally CMS introductory, WSET level 2 or equivalent.
 * Previous experience as a Sommelier or in a wine service position in a high-end restaurant.
 * Strong communications and organisational skills
 * Positive, can-do attitude and an eagerness to learn.
 * Ability to multitask, prioritize and under pressure in a busy environment
 * Supervise all sections of the restaurant during service periods to ensure that the highest level of wine service is delivered to our guests
 * Assist the wine training program for all staff, as required
 * Have full Australian working rights
 * Available to work some evenings and weekends
All employees will be required to undergo a police check as part of the onboarding process
