Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Banking and Finance professional to join our team. As a Paralegal or Junior Lawyer, you will be responsible for supporting banking and finance transactions by preparing documentation, conducting legal research, and advising clients under senior lawyer guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drafting and reviewing of loan agreements and other legal documents in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Conducting thorough research on banking and finance laws and regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy.
* Providing expert advice to clients on banking and finance matters, under the guidance of senior lawyers.
* Managing electronic conveyancing processes using PEXA, ensuring efficient and streamlined operations.
* Collaborating with colleagues to ensure thorough due diligence processes, examining relevant legal aspects.
* Maintaining accurate records of legal documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Law degree or equivalent qualification.
* Strong knowledge of banking and finance laws and regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or other productivity software.
