About the role
This hands-on, fast-paced role is responsible for managing the development and delivery of high net worth, quality fundraising events that align with the organisation's strategic direction and support the achievement of CPA's fundraising targets. It is an integral part of the high-performing Fundraising team with a track record of success.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role based on the Northern Beaches with flexible WFH opportunities.
Responsibilities of the role (not limited to):
* Building strong working relationships with event committees and key stakeholders, including guest management.
* Developing and implementing fundraising and engagement strategies to achieve revenue targets.
* Ensuring a quality supporter experience, increased participation, and contribution to grow revenue.
* Creating operational plans to ensure effective delivery and execution of fundraising events within agreed budgets and resource constraints.
* Development and delivery of event communications content and digital marketing.
* Creating sponsorship proposals; collaborating with the corporate engagement team to secure event sponsorship and ticket sales, managing ongoing relationships with sponsors to build long-term sustainable relationships.
* Generating and managing data to maintain integrity; and reporting on insights/trends in performance with a commitment to continuous improvement.
* Managing online fundraising platforms to ensure maximum efficiency and meet needs.
About you:
* Demonstrated experience as an Event Manager in a fast-paced environment with event planning, delivery, and management experience.
* Sound experience in event-based, peer-to-peer, and/or community fundraising.
* Digital fundraising experience with a demonstrated commitment to excellent donor stewardship.
* Exceptional stakeholder management with a high level of verbal communication skills, well-developed influencing and negotiation skills.
* Experience with customer relations management databases and systems.
* Pipeline and budget management experience with proven results in meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
* Ability to be self-motivated, responsive, and flexible in an environment with time pressures and multiple priorities.
* The ability to analyze problems and deliver solutions.
* Outstanding time management and personal organizational skills.
* A results-driven and "can-do" approach.
