Join our dedicated team as a Facilitator in the Men's Behaviour Change Program, where you'll support men to build insight, challenge behaviours, and develop respectful relationships.

This role is essential in addressing the root causes of Domestic and Family Violence. You will join a passionate and collaborative team committed to tackling these underlying issues. Through education and providing holistic, trauma-informed support, you'll empower individuals and families to find safety, stability, and hope. Centacare NENW are looking for a motivated individual to join our Men's Behaviour Change team as a Facilitator. In this role, you will work with men on an individual and group basis, to foster changing behaviour to ensure the safety of women and children.

We are looking for someone who believes that accountability for behaviour is fundamental to effecting change, and who will place the safety of women and children at the forefront of their practice.

About the Role

As a Facilitator, you will play a critical role in supporting participants through their journey of change by:

* Assisting in the development and delivery of the Men's Behaviour Change Program in line with practice standards.
* Planning and facilitating program sessions within a holistic, multidisciplinary framework.
* Conducting and documenting comprehensive risk assessments throughout the program.
* Establishing early engagement with participants through pre-program contact.
* Holding men accountable for their use of violence and supporting them to develop non-violent behaviours.
* Identifying and reporting risks, including group safety concerns and critical incidents, to the Program Manager.
* Collaborating closely with co-facilitators and key stakeholders to ensure coordinated and effective service delivery.
* Maintaining accurate attendance records and reporting on participant outcomes.
* Supporting additional duties as required to ensure the ongoing success of the program.

Essential Criteria

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* Tertiary qualifications or significant experience in Social Work, Community Services, Psychology, or a related field.
* Professional experience working within the domestic and family violence sector.
* Strong group facilitation skills, with experience delivering therapeutic or behaviour change programs.
* The ECAV Graduate Certificate in Men's Behaviour Change Individual and Group Work Interventions is highly desirable, or a willingness to obtain.
* A commitment to ethical practice, accountability frameworks, and trauma-informed approaches.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust, navigate challenging conversations, and promote change.
