CPA is seeking driven and motivated Disability Support professionals for both our SIL homes and our community access programs across the Newcastle region.
These positions include both in-home & community support where you'll have the opportunity to directly engage with clients and help to build independence through working towards individual goals.
Your duties will include:
- Delivering personalised support by assisting clients with personal care, administrating medication, manual handling.- Supporting clients to make their own choices and build skills to be more independent.- Building positive relationships with our clients.- Transporting clients in your own car.
**Requirements**:
- Professional Disability Support experience or lived experience preferred, however your can-do attitude is key- Someone who embodies CPA values, is client-focused in their approach to care, and driven by the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of people with disabilities.- A current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum)- Availability to work 3 8-hour active overnight shifts per week
