The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, and requires precision, craftsmanship, and a strong work ethic.Qualification and experience:Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling or equivalent trade qualificationMinimum of 2 years of relevant industry experienceStrong ability to interpret plans and specificationsProficiency with hand and power tools for tile cutting and surface preparationKnowledge of waterproofing and safety standardsGood physical condition and manual dexterityFull working rights in AustraliaAustralian Citizens and Permanent Residents highly preferredTasks and responsibilities (not limited to):Interpreting project specifications, taking precise measurements, and outlining work areas according to design plans.Preparing wall and floor areas by stripping away existing tiles, grout, or adhesives, patching surface imperfections, and thoroughly cleaning to ensure proper adhesion.Applying appropriate tile adhesives to both surfaces and tiles, then carefully positioning tiles to match layout requirements.Operating specialized tile-cutting tools to trim tiles for installation around corners, fixtures, and pipes, ensuring a seamless fit.Accurately aligning and spacing tiles to maintain consistency and meet quality standards.Applying grout between tiles and cleaning off any excess to deliver a polished, professional finish.Installing waterproofing membranes or coatings where required to protect against moisture damage.Install flooring composed of granolithic concrete, terrazzo, or similar durable materials for a range of applications.When required, creating decorative mosaic layouts using colored tiles, adding custom aesthetic elements to surfaces.Job Type: Full-timePay: $77,000.00 per yearSchedule:8-hour shiftExperience:Wall and floor tiling: 2 years (Required)Licence/Certification:Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling (Required)Work Authorisation:Australia (Required)Work Location:In person
