Location: CQUniversity Cairns, Rockhampton, Bundaberg or Mackay (working from home is negotiable, excluding SEQ region).
Classification: Higher Education Worker Level 5
Total Remuneration: $95,618 to $107,560 per annum (including salary of $80,799 to $90,890 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading).
Employment type: Fixed-Term (until ), Full-Time.
What you'll do
* Support the planning and delivery of advertising and marketing materials across the University.
* Review requests, offer marketing advice, write and edit content, and ensure output aligns with brand and style guidelines.
* Assist with development of resources for internal teams and contribute to timely, high-quality service with a focus on quality and collaboration.
The Global Brand and Marketing Directorate shapes and promotes CQUniversity's identity across Australia and internationally. You'll work with the team to deliver strategic marketing initiatives, manage brand integrity, and provide high-quality advertising, creative production, and campaign services.
Responsibilities
* Assist with advertising and marketing project planning and execution.
* Write, edit, and review content to ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
* Provide marketing advice and support to internal stakeholders.
* Develop resources for internal teams to improve service delivery.
Position requirements
* An Associate Diploma in marketing, communications or a related field and at least two years of relevant experience (or equivalent) including advertising, production, marketing campaigns, copywriting and project management.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build relationships, negotiate, and collaborate.
* Proven experience in advertising and production across print, digital, and promotional materials.
* Proficiency with business software (e.g., Microsoft Suite and project management tools) and ability to learn new systems.
* A current Class C driver's licence and willingness to travel or work outside standard hours when required (staff may need to work on campuses other than the primary location).
