Job Description
Our valued client Metal Recovery Industries based in Qld, is seeking an experienced Software Analyst to join their friendly team of professionals. The Company collects, salvages and processes scrap metal goods for recycle and re use in regional and remote areas in Central North Queensland, including mining sites.
Responsibilities
Analyse and document software requirements and specifications. Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
Conduct testing, validation, debugging, diagnosing and correcting errors and faults in an applications programming language within established testing protocols, guidelines and quality standards to ensure software, programs and applications perform to specification.
Collaborate with end users to gather feedback and improve system functionality. Create, update and maintain detailed technical documentation for software applications and operational procedures.
Monitor software systems for performance issues and provide troubleshooting support. Provide training and support to end users. Provide advice, guidance and expertise in developing proposals and strategies for software design activities such as financial evaluation and costings for recommending software purchases and upgrades.
Qualifications and Skills
Proficiency in using software analysis tools. Strong understanding of software lifecycle and methodologies. Familiarity with database management systems.
Good organizational and time management skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience in software requirements analysis and documentation.
Proficiency in using software analysis and testing tools. Understanding of software development methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with database management and SQL. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Salary: $76,515 per annum plus Super
