Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Educator to join our Residential Clinical Governance Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging training programs aligned with our organizational goals.

Your primary objective will be to facilitate learning and development opportunities for our staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.

To achieve this, you will work closely with various stakeholders, including external providers, to develop and implement training resources and programs. You will also be responsible for managing training records, contributing to quality audits, and reporting on compliance.

The ideal candidate will possess strong time management and prioritization skills, enabling them to effectively manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and deliver training programs: Develop engaging training sessions and programs that meet the needs of our staff.
* Manage training records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with external providers, staff, and other stakeholders to develop and implement training resources and programs.
* Contribute to quality audits: Participate in quality audits and provide recommendations for improvement.
* Report on compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and report any issues or concerns to management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Registered Nurse: Hold a current registration as a Registered Nurse with 3+ years' experience in residential aged care and/or acute environments.
* Background in training: Possess a background in training, education, or learning and development.
* Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment: Hold a valid Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
* Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards: Have a high-level understanding of Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards.
