Financial Operations Manager Job Description
The role involves overseeing the bank's financial reporting, liquidity position, funding requirements, market and investment risk, securitisation programs, capital risk, and balance sheet composition. The position ensures compliance with prudential requirements, the Risk Management Framework, and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise financial processes and improve efficiency.
* Manage daily treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting and liquidity management to maintain a healthy cash position.
* Oversee wholesale short-term debt issuance and maturities to ensure timely payment and manage interest rate risk in the banking book.
* Monitor and manage interest rate risk in the banking book to mitigate potential losses.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies to avoid any non-compliance issues.
* Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in financial management within the banking or financial services sector, with a strong understanding of financial markets and risk management.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
