We are presenting an absolutely unique opportunity for a proven Civil Design Engineer to step up into a management position, with a difference. Due to rapid expansion, our client now looks to bring a senior person in, reporting directly to a general manager and manage a gun list of designers and drafters who are delivering some of the most cutting edge civil design solutions in the local market.
You are likely to have worked in a Civil Design role some time, now at a senior level but are wanting to move up, but stay close to the detailed design, rather than being pushed into Project Management.
You will be keen to inspire a design team and show them how it's done
Responsibilities will include managing design efficiencies within the team, managing deliverables, resourcing design and drafting capabilities, training and assessing training needs for staff, managing and improving CAD standards.
You will have proven experience working in a Land Development design consultancy and have a successful career so far in design elements such as Water, Sewer, Storm Water Drainage, Earthworks, Roads, Wetlands and a mixture of other Civil Infrastructure.
Ideally your technical background will include both 12D and AutoCAD, at an absolute minimum.
As a leader, you will be driven, motivated and possess excellent communication skills. You will hold (ideally) a CPEng.
