PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANISATION:
- We're looking for a strategic finance leader to join the adidas Pacific team. This role partners closely with both our Retail and Marketing Activation teams, playing a key role in driving financial performance, ensuring robust forecasting, and enabling data-driven decisions. You'll bring strong financial acumen and a collaborative mindset to support planning, budgeting, and insightful analysis that fuels our business success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as the FP&A business partner for the Retail team, ensuring commercial initiatives are financially sound and performance is optimised through:Understanding retail strategy and aligning financial targets
Analysing monthly fleet performance and identifying improvements
Preparing business cases for new store openings and handling setup admin
Managing monthly store bonus calculations
Driving forecast and budget submissions with precision
Leading ad hoc analysis to challenge assumptions and influence strategy
Support the Pacific-wide forecasting and budgeting process, including submissions to regional and global HQs and data uploads to global reporting systems-
Partner with the Marketing Activation team to track and optimise spend across campaigns and sports marketing, ensuring budget accuracy and value for money-
Consolidate and analyse total OPEX, preparing detailed, accurate forecasts and delivering clear variance analysis-
Drive continuous improvement of FP&A and reporting processes to improve accuracy, speed, and insight quality-
Act as 2IC for the FP&A team, providing leadership and support across various finance projects and ad hoc tasksKEY RELATIONSHIPS:

7+ years of experience in Financial Planning or similar finance leadership roles-
CPA or CA qualification essential-
Retail experience highly desirable-
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills-
Exceptional analytical and Excel skills-
Proficiency in SAP; PowerBI experience is a plusREQUISITE EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance-
CPA or CA qualified-
