About the Job
A customer-focused and commercially driven Procurement Partner is sought to support and manage a broad range of activities within our Procurement team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the development of high-quality relationships with key suppliers, ensuring risk management, quality, and digital enablement in the supply chain.
2. Create optimal value for money across all categories of spend.
3. Focus on asset management planning and deliver value by:
* Refining and maintaining the Procurement Framework.
* Liaising with external consultants and staff to implement the Procurement Framework.
* Acting as a point of reference and contact for school leaders and staff in procurement processes.
* Managing sourcing processes and program requirements.
* Assisting in tendering and sourcing processes.
* Carrying out analysis and research to determine procurement strategies and supplier engagement approaches.
* SUPPORTING ongoing relationships with pre-qualified and preferred suppliers.
* Oversight of the Procurement helpdesk to ensure efficient response times and timely closure of tickets.
About You
1. You have an understanding of procurement industry best practices and relevant statutory standards.
2. You have knowledge of internal planning pathways and procurement for projects.
3. You possess strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications and Project Management Software, including practical Excel skills.
4. You demonstrate effective budgetary and risk management controls to deliver projects.
5. You have a strong work ethic and genuine passion for customer support and service.
6. You hold an appropriate qualification in business, project management, administration or a related discipline.
7. You hold a current NSW Driver's Licence.
