Our client, a global leader in power and automation technology, is seeking a skilled Electrical Fitter to join their Workshop & Repairs team. This role offers a stable, hands-on opportunity in a well-established workshop environment, with excellent pay and ongoing overtime opportunities.

What you'll do:
- Perform traction motor disassembly, reassembly, troubleshooting, repair, and testing
- Carry out electrical testing on motors to ensure performance and reliability
- Work with bills of materials to ensure all parts, tools, and equipment are ready
- Deliver jobs on time, first-time right, to high quality and safety standards
- Assist in training and mentoring less experienced team members
- Identify and support process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Provide excellent service and collaborate with customers and internal teams
What we're looking for:
- Electrical Fitter Licence (open to final-year apprentices or those with a restricted licence)
- Minimum 2 years’ hands-on industry experience (rotating machines preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to tackle technical challenges
- Commitment to Occupational Health & Safety and protected work practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting
- Team player with a willingness to share knowledge and support others
Bonus skills (highly regarded):
- Rigging or Dogger ticket
- First Aid / CPR & Low Voltage
- Rescue Rewinding experience
