Role Overview
The Operational Resilience and Governance Team is based in Sydney within Aggregate Risk and Prudential.
This team owns and manages the application of Macquarie's contagion risk framework and has Line 2 oversight of other key APRA prudential standards primarily related to non-financial risks and governance.
Key Responsibilities
As an Analyst/Senior Analyst, you will work with various stakeholders across Macquarie's senior management, business, and support groups to help meet obligations to the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA).
You will provide timely and accurate advice on APRA's requirements and expectations to the business.
This includes reviewing proposed new business and transactions for compliance with relevant prudential standards.
You will contribute to the successful implementation of enhancements to the contagion risk framework and maintenance of policies and controls.
Requirements
* An intellectually curious mind and ability to conceptualise abstract ideas.
* Strong communications and relationship management skills, including collaboration and engagement with a broad cross-section of individuals.
* An understanding of wholesale banking products and experience in financial services in a risk, treasury, regulatory compliance, or legal role.
Tertiary qualifications in finance, economics, accounting, or law would be advantageous.
About the Role
This role plays a key part in supporting the team in non-financial risk matters relating to operational risk, information security, and data risk.
You will provide Line 2 review and challenge in relation to frameworks that support compliance with other key APRA prudential standards.
