Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Building Certifier to join our growing team. If you're passionate about the construction industry, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you
Key Responsibilities:
•Conduct inspections and assessments of building works to ensure compliance with all relevant laws, codes, and regulations.
•Review and process development applications, certificates, and plans.
•Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients, architects, and builders regarding building codes and regulations.
•Ensure all building certifications are accurately completed and compliant with local and national standards.
•Monitor and maintain records of building inspection results and certification processes.
•Work closely with local authorities and other stakeholders to ensure projects meet all necessary legal requirements.
•Stay up to date with current regulations, building codes, and industry best practices.
Key Requirements:
•Relevant qualifications in Building Certification or a related field (e.g., Diploma of Building Surveying, Bachelor of Building Surveying, etc.).
•Proven experience in building certification or related roles (minimum of 3 years preferred).
•Sound knowledge of building codes, regulations, and relevant industry standards.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, builders, and authorities.
•Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently.
•Proficiency in relevant software and tools for building certification and reporting.
•A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to different work sites.
