Downer's Energy & Utilities business has a full-time permanent opportunity for an
Electrical Tradesperson
to join our team at
BlueScope Steel in Port Kembla
. In this role, you will apply your expertise in Electrical and Instrumentation installation for the Number 6 Blast Furnace Project.
Responsibilities
Permanent Full-Time Role:
Secure a long-term position with Downer
Competitive Rate:
EBA rates $***** + Penalties + Electrical Licence Allowance + Site allowances.
Residential Roster:
56 hours per week. Monday - Friday - 10 hours and 6 hours on Saturdays.
Convenient Location:
Working at BlueScope Steel, Port Kembla, NSW.

Electrical Tradesperson activities including Electrical and Instrumentation installation for the project
About You
Trade Qualified:
Hold an Electrical trade qualification with an Electrical licence with experience working within a heavy industry or power station environment.
Technically Proficient:
Experienced in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform tasks.
Team Oriented:
Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills and a commitment to safety.
Site Qualifications:
Hold full working rights in Australia, White Card, EWP ticket (desirable). Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical.
