A dynamic and inclusive Catholic primary school in Victoria's Goulburn Valley is seeking a strategic leader to drive academic growth, wellbeing, and faith development among its students.
The ideal candidate will be an innovative educator grounded in faith and committed to Catholic education, bringing demonstrated leadership experience in a Catholic school setting, strong communication and team-building skills, and accreditation to teach religious education or lead in a Catholic school.
As principal, they will play a vital role in shaping the school's strategic direction, fostering an environment where every student feels known, supported, and inspired to thrive. They will work collaboratively with 51 principals across the Sandhurst Diocese, benefiting from a commitment to professional development and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the school in achieving academic excellence and promoting a culture of wellbeing and faith development
* Develop and implement strategic plans to drive school improvement and achievement of goals
* Build and maintain strong relationships with teachers, staff, parents, and the wider community
* Maintain accreditation to teach religious education or lead in a Catholic school
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
Requirements:
* Master's degree in education or related field (or commitment to commence)
* Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (or eligibility to register)
* Accreditation to Teach Religious Education or Lead in a Catholic School
* Demonstrated leadership experience in a Catholic school setting
* Strong communication, team-building, and strategic leadership capabilities
