About the Role
As a Business Analyst, you will:
Engage and manage diverse stakeholders across multiple business units to ensure alignment of objectives, priorities, and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead the analysis and documentation of current, interim, and future state processes, using advanced process mapping techniques to create clear, actionable workflows and models.
Capture, validate, and prioritize business requirements, ensuring they are comprehensive, traceable, and aligned with strategic goals.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and design documents, adhering to industry best practices and IT standards.
Collaborate closely with project managers, development teams, and business units to deliver IT solutions on time and within budget.
Develop test plans, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure solution quality prior to deployment.
Analyse complex data sets to extract insights that inform decision-making and support strategic initiatives.
About You – Key Selection Criteria
Strong understanding of product delivery within COTS (Commercial off the Shelf) platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Protecht) and how configuration decisions impact business processes and the delivery of new modules.
Ability to effectively support the Product Manager, Agile PM, Senior BA and Product Owner through clear requirement gathering, documentation, alignment and successful product delivery.
A strong listener with the ability to quickly absorb context, adapt to change, and integrate smoothly into the squad's workflow.
Working knowledge of Agile and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) practices to support backlog refinement, prioritisation, and delivery ceremonies.
Clear and concise communicator with the ability to meet deadlines, manage expectations, and stretch when needed to support delivery outcomes.
Confident using documentation and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint to provide clarity, structure, and traceability across BA deliverables.
Helping to build relationships with new Product Owners, building their confidence in our ability to analyse and deliver upon their needs.
Variety of different Product Owners with varying needs and adapting to meet those needs.
Accountabilities
Planning and executing successful workshops.
Capturing prioritised epics, features & user stories with a clear articulation of value, to enable agile squads to deliver value fast.
Collaboration and teamwork and building healthy productive relationships.
Familiarity with Scaled Agile Frameworks, Agile methodology, and associated certifications.
Base Salary Range
Base Salary Range: $120,827 to $137,609 pa (HEW 8)
This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary.
