strong leadership, collaboration and engagement skills, particularly an ability to lead and support teams to plan and deliver funded, region-wide programs.
strong project and program management and organisational skills, including experience in planning and implementing asset and financial management policy and procedures.
problem solving skills, initiative, self-motivation and a drive for continuous program improvement.
high level negotiation and communication skills to ensure the efficient delivery of asset-related programs, in partnership with operational staff, across a large geographic area.
high level writing, communication, systems management and reporting skills.
a strong understanding of workplace, health and safety policy and procedures.
About the Role
The position is part of the SEQ Region's Technical Support team - a group of innovative, multi-disciplinary, park management experts and knowledge brokers who propel the Region forward through planning, strategy and support. The unit leads key programs, including providing a 'bridge' between statewide funded programs and on-ground operations. The position will help drive consistency across the Region's asset programs - including how we prioritise effort, utilise systems & frameworks and uphold our legislation & policy.
