How you'll make a difference
* Develop horizontal and vertical alignments, cross-sections, and corridor models to applicable standards and client requirements.
* Generate and manage design deliverables including design models, drawings, long / cross-sections, digital terrain models, and quantity take offs.
* Coordinate with civil, drainage, utilities, structures, traffic, and survey teams to resolve interfaces and constraints.
* Apply design standards, road safety principles, and constructability considerations, document assumptions and design decisions.
* Prepare and check design outputs, layer / feature compliance, and metadata for digital delivery within client specification requirements.
* Maintain design records in the common data environment and follow configuration / control procedures.
The qualities that help you thrive
* Proven road / highway design experience using 12d Model.
* Strong understanding of geometric design principles and standards
* Working knowledge of drainage / utilities interfaces and how they influence roadway geometry and corridor features.
* Proficiency producing model-based deliverables aligned to BIM / digital delivery requirements.
* Diploma or degree in civil engineering or equivalent design discipline
* At least 8 years of relevant industry experience.
* Advantages: Civil 3D familiarity, OpenRoads, Navisworks / Model coordination, vehicle swept path analysis, earthworks optimisation, quantities.
