Norlift is a well-established and reputable company specializing in Forklift, EWP, and Material Handling Equipment. Since 2000, Norlift has been locally owned and operated, making us the leading Forklift and Material Handling specialists in Far North Queensland, including Cooktown and Weipa. Our services include Forklift Hire, Sales, Service, and Parts, and we take pride in delivering exceptional solutions to our clients.
We are seeking a highly motivated multi-tasker as a key member of the Norlift Team, this position will primarily be responsible for assisting in our fast paced front office and daily management operations.
This role entails the day-to-day administrative duties carried out to run the daily operation of our business;
* First point of call (face to face/ phone/ email)
* Data entry / filing
* Mail collection/ Banking
* Accounts Payable/Receivable
* Effective use of MYOB
* Maintain & scheduling of PM Servicing and/or Breakdown jobs, liaising with sites/customers/contractors
* Assist with spare parts receivable and/or dispatch
* Assist with maintaining site specific inductions for employees/ vendors as required
Successful Applicant;
* Maintain excellent customer service
* Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role (advantageous)
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite /Adobe/PDF suite
* Ability to work under pressure
* Have a friendly and approachable character as well as a can do attitude
* Be able to work in a team as well as independently
* Must be versatile and assist numerous different departments through the company
* Great work ethic as well as attention to detail
* Honest and reliable
* Experience in MYOB (advantageous)
* Be able to work in a mechanical environment, being versatile to deal with mechanics, contractors and customers in this field.
* Must be Australian Permanent Resident
Permanent part-time position
Monday – Friday 9:00am-2:30pm
