Job Description
The role of IT Asset Manager will join our team based in Brisbane and support AECOM's IT asset and configuration management practices effectively communication and supporting the business across ANZ.
How you'll make a difference:
* Provide IT support, advice, and effective solutions to internal teams, technology partners, and vendors, while liaising with key stakeholders and leadership to enhance IT asset tracking, management, and optimisation.
* Collaborate closely with the outsourced IT provider to ensure smooth operations across hardware refreshes, software licensing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Coordinate and manage end-to-end device deployments across ANZ, including planning, communication, vendor management, logistics, and alignment with annual lease and finance approval schedules.
* Oversee hardware procurement and delivery processes—raising Coupa orders, tracking shipments with suppliers, confirming receipt with local contacts—and manage staff communications and feedback to drive improvement.
* Support office relocations and real estate projects across ANZ and Asia by providing IT guidance and technical expertise to ensure seamless technology readiness and transition.
Qualifications

The qualities that help you thrive:
* Tertiary degree in Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field (highly regarded but not essential).
* Proven experience (ideally 5+ years) in IT Asset Management, with strong capability across both Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM).
* Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow ITOM, with hands-on experience in SAM Pro and HAM Pro, or similar asset management tools.
* Outstanding communication with a passion for implementing best-practice IT asset management processes across local and global regions.
* Prior experience in the Engineering or Construction sector is highly regarded but not essential.
* Experience supporting finance and budgeting processes is desirable.
