**THE ROLE**
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance and located at our shared service office on the Gold Coast, this full time role will be responsible for the facilitation of employee salary payments on a weekly/fortnightly basis for both our shared service staff and our amazing retail teams.
**Key Responsibilities Include**:
- End to end management of the weekly and fortnightly pay run, including all timesheet and STP requirements.
- Maintain payroll records, employee systems and employee data.
- Liaising with our executive and management team on pay related queries
- Produce weekly and monthly payroll reporting
- Maintain compliance with statutory obligations
- Monthly lodgement and reconciliation of superannuation
- Process payroll journals into the accounting system and reconciliation of payroll related general ledger accounts.
- Responding to ad-hoc payroll queries from internal staff and external agencies
- Prepare and lodge monthly payroll tax returns
- Maintaining written payroll processing procedures. Standalone role with great internal backup and support
**ABOUT YOU**
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual who loves building relationships across all levels of the business. A few other things we will be looking for include;
- A minimum of 5+ years experience
- Experience in payroll with 200+ employees.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in accuracy
- Proven confidentiality, honesty and integrity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of payroll standards and legislation Ability to manage time effectively and work to deadlines.
