Job Summary
This position offers the opportunity to work as a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife in a remote area clinic, providing primary healthcare services to a diverse range of patients. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with medical officers, program staff, and Anangu staff to deliver comprehensive care.
The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of post-graduation work experience, recent acute medical/A&E exposure, and demonstrated experience working in a clinical environment. A strong understanding of Aboriginal health issues and principles of Primary Health Care is also essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Treating acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions
* Managing patient recalls and conducting follow-up care
* Child health monitoring and administering vaccinations
* Assessing social welfare issues and conducting public health screenings
