Safety Superintendent - FIFO 7/7- Underground Mining
Your new company
You will be joining a high-grade underground gold mining operation on a 7/7 Roster for a 2 month contract.
Your new role
* Lead the site's health and safety strategy, driving a culture of continuous improvement and proactive risk management.
* Oversee incident investigations, reporting, and corrective actions.
* Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, mining regulations, and company standards.
* Facilitate safety training, inductions, and toolbox talks.
* Monitor and report on safety performance metrics and trends.
* Liaise with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
* Mentor and develop safety advisors and site personnel.
What you'll need to succeed
* Bachelor's degree, diploma or certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety
* Health & Safety experience within underground Mining (ideally Goldmining )
* Completed Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (at least 40116)
* Completed Incident Investigation qualification (ICAM) qualification
* Current WA manual driver's licence.
* In-depth knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation and industry regulations.
* Proven ability to develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
* Experience in conducting ICAM investigations.
