The Role
We're seeking a proactive and analytical Production Scheduler to lead the planning function for our Adelaide site. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll build and manage demand plans and production schedules that ensure the right products are made at the right time, with the right inventory levels—meeting customer requirements while improving production efficiency and profitability.
Working closely with Manufacturing, Innovation, Warehouse, Technical/Quality and the broader management team, you will:
* Build and manage demand plans/forecasts across daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, 6-monthly and annual horizons
* Develop baseline demand by SKU and incorporate market trends, promotions and seasonality into forecasts
* Provide complete, accurate and meaningful demand data to support operational and strategic planning
* Ensure production planning supports customer delivery requirements and optimises inventory levels
* Identify risks in demand planning and develop mitigation strategies to protect service, cost and efficiency
* Manage vendor replenishment insights by monitoring customer/DC stock levels and trends
* Support Purchasing/Procurement with planning inputs, including fresh ingredient demand and ordering
* Report on variances and write-offs of raw materials and packaging and help identify accountable functions for cost allocation
The Person
You're a strong planner who thrives in a fast-paced FMCG environment—curious with data, confident engaging stakeholders, and practical in balancing customer service with operational constraints.
You'll Bring
* Tertiary qualification (preferred) in Business / Logistics Management
* Proven experience in Demand Planning / Inventory Management / Logistics within FMCG and multiple SKUs
* Advanced Excel capability and strong systems knowledge
* Experience contributing to continuous improvement projects
* Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly
Health, Safety & Environment
Safety is everyone's responsibility. You'll promote and participate in the Safety Management System, follow safe work procedures, support hazard identification and contribute to sustainability initiatives.
What We Offer You
At Patties Food Group, we're passionate about our people, brands and culture. You'll join a supportive, values-led environment where you can make a real impact and help build Adelaide's reputation as a market leader through reliable planning and strong customer outcomes
