About the Role 

As the Fleet Business Development Manager, you will drive substantial revenue growth across Ford's commercial lineup, including Ford Super Duty, within the SME sector. You will partner with dealers to help them grow revenue and proactively build a high-performing sales pipeline.

By leveraging strategic memberships and industry associations, you will play a pivotal role in capturing market share and establishing Ford as the partner of choice for business owners and trade professionals.

This position reports directly to the Key Accounts Manager and is based at our National Sales Company Office in Richmond, operating on a hybrid schedule with four days in the office.

Responsibilities
* SME Market Penetration (Dealership Support): Develop and execute a strategic SME acquisition plan that enables and accelerates revenue growth across our dealership network.
* Strategic Association Management: Build and nurture deep relationships with key industry associations and strategic memberships to create exclusive networking opportunities and sales channels for dealerships.
* Pipeline Development: Proactively track the sales funnel within the dealership network, to identify opportunities and support our dealers to increase lead to sale conversions to grow pipeline of sales.
* Fleet Analysis: Conduct technical assessments of SME construction fleet needs, guiding dealerships on trade-specific upfit specifications, tool-of-trade requirements, and vehicle productivity.
* Performance Reporting: Partner with the dealer network by providing weekly updates on lead conversion, association engagement, and pre-order targets.
Qualifications
* At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales or a field-based representative role.
* Tertiary qualified with a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
* Deep understanding of vehicle sales and service processes across both corporate and dealership levels.
* Sound knowledge of automotive products and associated services, with a technical or engineering background highly regarded.
* Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
* A motivated self-starter who thrives with minimal supervision and can manage multiple complex projects under demanding deadlines
